Then looked at the "Reese's Store" linked right under the description. I am now happier than ever that I am no longer in the distribution center there. I would likely be 400 lb by now with all of those different variations.
Back 20 years ago it was something when they started running the shapes {trees, eggs, pumkins...). You would come in to work and you could smell the peanut butter in the air from a case or two that a forklift accidentally speared. We would have to write them off as damage and see to it that they were not released to the general public.
Seriously, some shard of metal could have penetrated the packaging and we wouldn't want anyone hurt...
Edit: BTW this was all above board. Hershey was well aware of and monitored our shrink (which was far lower than contracted.). The only rule was that we could eat as much as we liked in the cafe or offices, but none was to leave the building.
