anybody know where to find this? the only place ive found is great fermentations and they want like $9 bucks to ship a $2.50 pound of it to me.

anybody else finding it anywhere? none of the 3 local shops here in SF carry it.

This won't help you but your main issue is when you buy anything online in small amounts, you will always pay a lot in shipping. To have any company offer little to no cost shipping, you need to spend a chunk of money. My advice is to buy it along with other things you need or buy a lot of the Special X. I have been in this situation in the past too.

well, yeah. thats common knowledge.

but $8.99 is crazy. there are quite a few other online shops with reasonable charges. farmhouse being one of the best in my opinion. if i was able to find someone else who had it, maybe i could buy 1/2 pound instead, or 1/4. and maybe their shipping is cheaper.

but as of now, ive only found one. seems odd.
