I have a mini keg and small fridge serving as my kegerator. I want to put a faucet through the fridge door rather than using a hose and picnic tap. I understand I need the faucet, handle, shank and tail piece - is there somewhere that has this as a kit with decent price, or do I have to buy them individually?

Tnx.

I would recommend Intertap flow control valves and Birdman has the best prices.
Flow control is fairly new and awesome, you can set your serving pressure at you carbonating pressure without super long lines.
But right now they are only selling them in multiples for some reason, maybe you can contact them?

The Intertap faucet is an improved version of the Perlick faucet, but you cannot go wrong with the Perlicks.

If you just want something basic you should be able to find traditional chrome plated brass combos for half the price:

Keg connection is another good source, may even be cheaper on the basic options:

Thanks. I keg cider, so line length isn't really a problem. Are the Perlicks worth twice the price of a basic faucet?

Stainless steel over chrome plated brass is worth the price. Perlicks or Intertap are the ones to consider.

Also check Ritebrew.com for faucets, shanks, fittings, line, etc.

SS is worth the price. Cider is pretty acidic and will pick up a metallic taste with brass.
Apple cider vinegar is commonly used to clean brass; as in removing the surface layer of brass so it is nice and shiny.
The vinegar is really only a few points lower than cider you plan to keg.

The pearl design is a sanitary design; meaning that it requires less cleaning.
It also has fewer parts and will not stick like traditional faucets.
So if you plan to tear your faucet down at every keg change then it probably isn't worth the price.
If you want to just wipe it down on occasion then get a front sealing faucet like the Perlick.

edit: I forgot about Ritebrew.com, I always forget about them for some reason and their prices are always competitive.

Looks like they have singles now!
