I am heading to Asheville, NC for my bachelor party in March. We are looking to do a brewery your that weekend. Does anyone have a suggestion for the best brewery?

Do you mean "tour" a brewery as in "take a tour and see all the brewhouse stuff" or "visit a bunch of places and drink a ton of beer"?

Personal favorites for beer include: Wicked Weed, Green Man, Hi-Wire

And if you are looking more for a great beer bar , The Thirsty Monk has to be up there.

The Sierra Nevada tour is the best.
But Wicked Weed is hands down the best brewery in my opinion. Not sure they do tours though.

See above post.

The new Sierra Nevada facility is REALLY impressive... but the taproom isn't open yet. It's still worth checking out though.

But yeah, for my dollar, no one in Asheville is making better beer than the folks at Wicked Weed.

Cheers and have fun.

Highlands is very cool and if you want to travel a bit farther west, Bear Waters in Waynesville is a hidden gem.

When i was there we walked from brewery to brewery downtown the took a little drive to Oscar Blues. Its a nice drive and facility. Wicked Weed was the stand out downtown for sure.

I went to Green Man brewpub and I definitely don't regret it.

Green man, Asheville Pizza and Brewing, Burial, and Wedge are my favorites. If you are interested in someone else driving and trying everything, look up ashevillebrewerytours.com and http://ashevillebrewscruise.com. Wicked weed is good, but can get ridiculously crowded and over priced compared to everything else in Asheville.
