Benefits of Stainless?

What are the benefits of all-stainless fittings in kegging?

I.e. why buy this kit: http://stores.kegconnection.com/Detail.bok?no=502
Over this one: http://stores.kegconnection.com/Detail.bok?no=526
(except, of course, for the Perlick faucets - I understand why I want those).

I understand that stainless steel is decidedly more corrosion-resistant than chrome-plated metal, but what would the effect be on your average homebrewer?

well for one the cheaper kit doesn't have perlick forward sealing faucets to upgrade those are about $15 more than the standard faucet. members have had problems with those cheap one getting stuck and breaking on them. so thats $30 more there you also get a better regulator in the more expensive kit. and the SS shanks which hold up much better than plated shanks.
