I downloaded the trial version to try out. But in the calculate hop bitterness tab it only has 3 spaces for only 3 hop additions is there anyway to add more spaces? Also are there any other features that are on the full version that arent on the trial?

I am not sure I am following your statement. 3 spaces?

On the right hand side of the ingredient panel there are buttons to add ingredients. Click the add button for Hops, and select the varietal. Then dble click the added hop and change the timing.

IIRC, you should be able to do that before you add the hop but, it has been a while since I cracked the software open.

I do think the trial is heavily limited.

He's in one of the Tools, not the main recipe screen.

Looks like you're right, only 3 spaces for hops. But you could create a dummy recipe and add as many hops as you wanted as Gila mentions above. You might need to create or modify hops (the alpha acid %, i.e.). Do that by clicking Hops on the left.

He's referring to the Hop Bitterness calculator, not building an actual recipe. That said, I think it would be better just to build the recipe and add you hop additions as Gila suggested.

It seems like the bitterness calculator is limited to just 3 additions, even in the full version that i have.
