Beersmith Final Gravity - Maltodextrin

How come when I add Maltodextrin to my recipe it does not effect my FG in Beersmith......shouldn't the addition of malto (an unfermentable) increase my OG AND FG??????

Note....I have gone as far as adding excessive amount in input to try to get an effect and no go....
