Does anyone know how or if the Beersmith2 app can convert from All Grain to Partial Mash? I see there has been some talk of this on another form but nothing really helped, other than doing the conversion yourself, which I can do if need be.

I used to have the cpu trial version and could do it on there. Basically just click one button and all the calculations and conversions were done for you (some ingredients might have changed) but it tried to keep the same profiles and did a great job of it.

I only purchased the app and that's what I have been using for about a year now and it doesn't seem like it is capable of that.

Anyone know?

Open your recipe,
It's in the top left next to scale recipe.
Just select the base extract you want to use and beersmith will do the calculations

There is no option for that in my Beersmith phone app. When I open my recipe this is what I see (minus the few ingredients in the middle).

That "all grain" tab at the pot only changes to Partial Mash and Extract, but it doesn't do any conversion for the recipe. It keeps the ingredients and amounts of the same, but then all of the Gravity, Bitterness, and Colour change. It doesn't substitute ingredients to do a conversion to partial mash.

I know how to do it on the CPU program, which maybe I will just pay for so I can easily do it. But I wanted to see if the Phone app would before hand.
