Beer supply online store located in the northeast?

Are there any reputable low cost beer supply online stores located in the north east u.s., preferably NY state?

I love Midwest/northern etc but the shipping cost is prohibitive on small orders (I like to buy one kit at a time). Thanks for your help/comments. Cheers!

I'm in NJ. If you're in NY you'll want to buy nearby but out of state to save the sales tax.

I appreciate you wanting a better option, but it's unlikely you'll find someone to ship a beer kit for less than $7.99. Shipping anything is freaking expensive these days, so you'll pay, one way or another.

My suggestion is to break your preference of only buying one kit at a time. Make those flat rate shipping dollars go farther. Or order enough for free shipping. Morebeer only requires $59. That's probably only two kits.

Many online suppliers will offer specials on shipping, make sure you're on their mailing list and take advantage when roses are available

Morebeer is by far the best. I have lived up and down the East Coast and Southeast and I can always rely on the standard free shipping to arrive in 2 days. Their customer support is awesome too.

It's not in the NE but Adventures in Homebrewing has always taken care of me along with Farmhouse Brewing out of Michigan.

I haven't found that it makes a big difference in shipping unless you are shipping all the way across the country. In that case the time it takes to ship is more important to me that the dollar or two difference. Most online sellers offer flat rate shipping or free shipping on an order of at least X amount. I pick a couple and use the cart and the shipping estimator, then buy the best deal. Sometimes the farthest away is the best deal.

Thank you all for your helpful replies. I will give morebeer a try. If I can save up and hit that $59 mark I'll be golden. Shipping time is about 3 days for me.

I ordered a couple kits from midwest. I've been waiting 12 days for them to arrive...looks like they are supposed to be delivered today. That's a bit long to wait for shipments this day in age. Just another reason I'd like a closer supplier. Cheers!
