maybe a silly question but here goes, if you let tinned beer sit for a few months until its nearly out of date would it be stronger?? also how do they carb it?? is it the same process as homebrewing??

why then does a lot of people prefare bottles to the tin??
Until recently, at least in the USA, very few good beers were canned. Part of the problem is the enormous number of cans a brewery has to buy at one time just because the companies that print cans don't do small runs. Also, no small canning systems existed. They do now, but the labeling problem is still out there.
