I was force carbing my Berliner Weisse @ 27lbs and decided to try my hand at bottling with my counter pressure filler. Bad idea! Well, maybe a good idea but a stupid operator. I dialed down the pressure to 7lbs and bottled with no problems, however, I forgot to dial the pressure back up before connecting the gas back up to the Berliner Weisse and beer shot back through the line. (No check valve) I know I have to change and sanitize the line but are any other things I should be aware of?

If you didn't have check-valves at the regulator, it may be history. Most do however.

guage was not working so when I took the line off I let the gas fly for about 10 seconds. A small amount of liquid came out and all is working great now
