Not a bad idea. It would be easier to judge how much beer is left. But I wonder how much a 12oz serving of RIS would weigh versus a 12oz serving of lager? How much to the kegs weigh on average? That sort of thing.

Have you thought to the cost? I would need to measure for 3 kegs, many have keezers and a lot of kegs. I have heard people stating 10 or more. If the cost is too high it would get prohibitively expensive for someone with a large keezer.
The readout should show all the kegs preferably all at the same time. Maybe look to linking it to a tablet pc.

I would hope to keep costs super low in order to make it affordable so that people can buy one for each of their kegs

Also the difference between 5 gallons of 1.030 and 1.008 is less than 2 ounces so pretty negligible
