not beer-related, but did anybody score an extra NIN pre-sale ticket this weekend? I'm trying to plan a bay area trip this year and it may end up revolving around that show if I can get my ass in the door.

Although I'm still butthurt about them upholding basically none of their kickstarter promises. Like how ******* hard would it have been?

Oh yeah... I totally forgot about that. I think they were expecting their beer to be much better than it was initially, and for all of us to be lining up every day saying "take my money!" Still though, patio's full every time I'm there. They makin' money.

They said we'd have right of first refusal for bottle releases (they never offered it for can releases and have done 0 bottle releases) and said there would be some kind of members-only party, which never happened. Last I checked they were still honoring the growler fills (though this was quite a while ago), but the whole thing left a sour taste in my mouth. It would've been so easy to just meet those expectations, I guess they decided they didn't need to satisfy the ~100 beer nerds when the patio is always filled with hipsters anyway.

Tlo4sho's SARA bottleshare in golden gate park is that Saturday, that's probably worth doing if you like SARA.

Anyone seen the new Bruery Old Ale sitting on a shelf anywhere? It's sold out on the website and I haven't come across it at any store either. Plenty of Sucre, Curvire and Saule out there but no Etain.

definitely check out Timeless in either Oakland or Berkeley, they're amazing. Great vegan goodies and coffee.
