Looks like I'm going to be in San Francisco next weekend, any reliable spots for Alvarado St cans? I've never tried any of their beer and I am curious...

Friday? Places in East Bay might have some at opening. But you are pushing it.Looks like I'm going to be in San Francisco next weekend, any reliable spots for Alvarado St cans? I've never tried any of their beer and I am curious...
City Beer Store gets it but goes quick. Try Crafty Fox but charge a premium or Toronado for cans.

Way more likely to find it lingering at Toronado than CBS. There's a shop on Alameda that often lasts, too.I am heading down early Saturday morning. I guess I'll give City Beer a visit, but I'm not going to make much effort if their beers are that hard to find.
Thanks.

It's gonna be a glorious week, and even though I have to miss T30 and Fleet Foxes (also would have halted a personal 10-year-long music fest ban for that), it's more than worth it. Plus all is not lost - we're going to the Friday sesh of Shelton Fest in the ATL. I was just trying to sound like a #newmoney MEllennial.Aside from the current rain, the humidity, and the heat, I'd take a weekend in Charleston over any beer event at Toronado.
Sounds like they weren't doing well financially. I've some great dining/drinking experiences at their Upper Haight spot, so I hope that keeps them afloat.I think the biggest question is......why? But hey, maybe New Belgium needed to up its kolsch game.

The food is super legit at both Magnolia spots.Sounds like they weren't doing well financially. I've some great dining/drinking experiences at their Upper Haight spot, so I hope that keeps them afloat.

I'm about 5'11, skinny and blond with a wart on my nose.
I'll scream and all but it's actually a turn-on for my girlfriend, so please help. Thanks

Wait, people are going to be showing up at 8AM for this? **** that noise, I might just sit this one out.I haven't been to the T since I've been on summer break. I already miss how blessed I was that my school is a few MUNI stops away so I would just go in between class or when I got out and read or catch up on stuff.
I already know Saturday is gonna be wild. My boss told me to go at 8 then run to the back room. I'll probably sleep in though since we're doing an event at the bar tomorrow. Smh
Hopefully they don't do bottles to go and those people just leave.Especially if they haven't announced whether or not they are doing vintage bottles to go, I would imagine beer nerds were err on the side of "hey I might get Rorie's or old Cable Cars" and line up ******* early. I can't imagine there won't be people in line at 6am.
T30 itself doesn't have a ton of hype, though, given it's a non-Barrel-aged Orval tribute. More for me!For T25 I was able to show up around 3pm once the early crowd left and easily purchase bottles. In today's beer climate I'm not sure that will be possible.

That might be what I try to do. I really want to try the tap stuff but don't want to be in a packed Toronado to do it...For T25 I was able to show up around 3pm once the early crowd left and easily purchase bottles. In today's beer climate I'm not sure that will be possible.
