If any of you guys are going to Cellarmaker this evening or weekend, I'm totally ISO a Tacohands shirt (medium and wouldn't mind a grumbler fill too). Payback in SD beers, mouth hugs, T-Swift gifs, etc... Get at me!

No luck last year, so if anyone is heading over there soon and is able to help me out this time around, I'd be stoked!

I have an extra medium, unworn Taco Hands shirt from last year you can have. It's bright blue. Picked it up for a friend but he already got one. Toss me a shipping label and it's yours.

Definitely taking you up on this! Thank you! Traveling all day today, but I'll be in touch.

Sorry but its been a busy first week. The anniversary ale won't see distro. Sounds like y'all started lining up down at the Monterey pub an hour before opening. I think we sent them ~ 25 cases which would leave us with 55 for Salinas.

First time in SF tonight! Guess I'll probably go to Toronado tonight at like 1030 unless anyone convinces me to go elsewhere. I'm staying near 6th and Market.

Cellarmaker has Taco Hands in honor of that "holiday" today.

If you are walking there from 6th and Market, do not go down 6th at that hour. Take a Lyft or Uber.

Also, check out Crafty Fox Ale House

Any reason it's worse than like, Philly, Chicago, Baltimore etc? I'm not too worried about junkies they congregate like 4 blocks from my apt in Philly.

Just don't walk around on your phone and walk with a sense of purpose and you'll be fine. I'm highly muggable/mess with-able and have never had any troubles on 6th Street. It is rough though.

Do you guys anticipate lefter cans of both Double Haole Punch and Anniversary Ale for sale tomorrow by chance?

...actually if I was a slower runner and fumbled with my car keys, there was one incident in Bmore that had me pretty spooked

It was pretty busy when I left but Salinas you "should" be fine. Wish I would have saw this before I left and would have asked someone more experienced than. I. As for the pub.. no clue.

/agree

Also, just cracked the anniversary ale and it is so Good. Make sure you get some if you can. I started driving down there today and almost talked myself multiple times into turning around, hitting SARA for some QoL, and just grabbing double Haole at the store. I didn't and I'm so glad I stayed the course.

Thanks for the reply! I have a freind in the area tomorrow, so just asking for a quick stop by and see what's left.

Yeah I'd imagine double haole should definitely be fine so it's definitely worth a stop. If your friend is going to the Salinas location have them go by El Charrito on Market St for a very good burrito ( I prefer the chorizo for breakfast). And then we can finally begin to lay this argument to rest. :)

Finally got around to getting to Gilman Brewing. Cool space, beers ranged from s'ok to meh. They had like 8 beers on tap and 3 of them had chilies, just why?

Also they had a "Secret Brunch" brown ale with maple and bacon. Missed the mark so hard it was almost impressive. No maple, no bacon, and the beer wasn't even brown. I went back to the bar keep to make sure I got the right beer.

MMMM "Brown" ale

I'll go back, but it will be a while. Probably at least a yr to let them get their stuff figured out.
