where?

does alvarado or moonraker make it to distro in SF? or are we all about to turn into NE-bags driving hours to crack open some random new canned hoppy water?
Let me know the next time you come down to Sante and I can bring you some cans of whatever is available at the time. Probably won't make it to the city for a while myself

Yep. Hit it everyone so often on my way home. Right where Division hits Mission. Good food, lots of Fieldwork, as you can see.

Also, Mamouche vertical(s) at Monks today. Just a few blocks up.

I can't imagine what they are going to charge for that. But if I liked Mamouche, it's not too often i'd have that opportunity.

I'm surprised that you all seem surprised.

They had a 2015/2016 "vertical" of some jolly pumpkin beer for $14 (4oz of each) when I was in on Sunday. At that rate you're practically making money if you buy the Mamouche.

In other news this is amazing. Thanks Ryan_G! It's a Brett IPA? If so, this is the best I've ever had and clean enough that I would guess Conan or London Ale yeast.

Not sure.

Glad you enjoy it. Will get you some more their next hyped release :)

Not a Brett IPA, it's an oddly worded way of saying they're using Saccharomyces Brux Trois, which for years was classified as a Brett strain until someone fully analyzed it and realized it's actually Sacc that has a lot of similar behavioral characteristics to Brett. Sacc Trois throws off huge tropical esters - as the copy on the CNJ can references - whereas Conan tends to throw more stone fruit/citrus.

Been hearing a ton of great things about this batch, looking forward to enjoying some this weekend.

I had it last night, and while it was very good, I gotta say some of you guys kinda made it sound like I'd be spending the weekend nursing a blown mind. Definitely on par with Bissell Bros, Fiddlehead, Trillium etc in terms of juicy hazy citrus DIPAs, but I don't think it necessarily outshines any of them...or Cellarmaker for that matter. Still, I'm stoked to be getting something like this locally and in 16oz can format.

It certainly didn't transport me to another dimension but I thought it was quite a bit better than all 5 of the Trillium cans I had last week and on par with the best that Cellarmaker has to offer.

I don't trade so I can't speak to any of those beers. My comment was about Northern California not New England.

Well okay, different squids for different kids, I suppose. Again, I'm not shitting on this beer, I think it's great and I'm happy it's around.

Has anyone seen/know if BA Ten Fidy is hitting in the Bay Area? I got a buddy whose bday is coming up and I know he's jonsing to try this beer. It's supposed to see distro right around now right?

It's landed in Ohio, hasn't yet landed in IL or WI. Haven't seen it in CA yet. Soonish? Sounds like they made a decent bit, which is phenomenal news.
