Had a pint yesterday, pretty good. Preferred Basic Batches: Mosaic. Could crush all day, esp if it were warm and sunny outside.

Anyone know where I can find bottles of the most recent Four Roses Limited Edition Barrel Strength in the bay? Not sure how hard it is to find but I just heard of it and it sounds amazing.

drinking margaritas at puerto alegre on Valencia and some dude just walked by with a Nor Cal Beer Geeks shirt on.

A group of beergeeks in Sonoma County.
They put on some events and tastings.
They have a website and facebook presence.

Good group of people!

wtf is that?

Anything going on this week? I'll be in SF until Wednesday with a few bottles to share and a meet up with dat boi Ryan_G planned for tomorrow or Tuesday night.
Mission Street Food is doing a pop-up at Perennial, but I doubt that's what you're asking about...

Comments heard at State Bird within 5 mins:
  • "I run up bar tabs of $20k every other week"
  • "I left a $5,000 tip on a $5,000 bill and they wouldn't accept it"
There is also a black card on the bar for good measure. I am clearly not cut out for the SF life. ...

Updates as necessary.

I mean, you are there on a Monday.

that's good - maui waui is delicious!
Yeah, what's not to like about it? $6 pint of local deliciousness instead of $8 pints of Constellation mediocrity. Now if we can just get Almanac to go after the Goose IPA taps and replace them with San Francisco IPA, we'll really be stepping up our local taps.

Dude that works at Hop Grenade tells me Altamont is going to making Maui Waui year-round, and that they are hoping to overtake all the dedicated Scuplin taps in the bay area. I'm all for this.
Would be nice but I wouldn't sleep on Fieldwork. They're popping up everywhere.
