At least not at RR after the Beat craziness last year.

Too bad I was just up their last weekend and they "weren't ready."

(I know, I know. RR sucks now, why didn't they bottle a good beer, i don't wait in lines for beer, etc etc.)

People love to hate on RR. The hate gets old IMO. Just don't go on hype releases or weekends, and you'll have a good time. Been there during the week mostly the past few years and haven't had a bad time myself, I look forward to visiting everytime I get around planning it.

I love the Toronado & have never had a bad experience there. I understand that some of you have, and that sucks. If anybody ever wants to give it another chance I'd be happy to buy you a few beers. Same goes for those who haven't been, or plan to visit.

Last time I was in Toronado the humidity was about 90%.
Smelled like a sweaty high school locker room.
So I stripped down, ordered a beer and hit the showers.

That reminds me of a time I was there in the middle of a Saturday drinking in the back room. Two attractive young women were sitting at a nearby table and eventually they start making out really hard. At one point they both left to go to that nasty ass bathroom in the back room. Awhile later they emerged and made a bee line straight for th exit. I'm convinced those attractive young women had sex in the Toronado bathroom.

So many opinions on Toronado..

I'm coming out for my honeymoon in late September and I get to choose a couple of beer things to mix in to tourist/winery stuff. I was gonna go with Russian River and Toronado but now I'm leaning towards jtmartino's with a side of tosh.

Saw a 375ml 3F GB for $28 in a store so that bar pricing is only ~64% more! Also passed on the $32 750ml OG

For some reason Ledger's is a couple of dollars high on all those 3F beer's this time around. I've left that GB alone for a while as it was a couple of dollars cheaper elsewhere.

Seriously, how does Mikkeller manage to produce hundreds of different beers, get them into practically every craft beer store I've been to, and then manage to open high-tech bars in several of the most expensive cities in the world? Dude must have incredible business acumen.

(As a first-time visitor, I enjoyed the hipster chic and was pleased that the Cantillons didn't kick within 15 minutes. Though — to be frank — STiVO Pils was definitely the best thing I tried today.)

Store out in Alameda that gets Bottle Logic beers in, currently has a couple on the shelf. I must admit to not really paying attention to them based on the price, but I can check next week to see what he has currently.

Unfortunately I won't be going in that direction. Driving from the airport to Golden Gate Bridge and will be willing to stop by anything in between on the way.
