Cult classic of some sort? None of the above is ringing any bells.
The Room. One of the weirdest, most awful movies ever. The writer/director/producer/star Tommy Wiseau is a bizarrely un-self aware guy. Met him twice:

Did you watch this with @largadeer? This is basically what he told me once upon a time. I was (and remain) unconvinced.
The first time I saw it was with a mutual friend of ours (he might've been turned onto it by Largadeer, I don't recall), but I've watched it with Largadeer since then. I don't usually buy into the "so bad it's good" line of thinking with movies, but The Room made me a believer. It's difficult to explain without spoiling certain aspects of it, but I'd advise watching it with someone who's already a fan.

Wiseau's complete lack of self awareness is what makes it so special and differentiates it from tongue and cheek schlock like Sharknado. Plus the midnight viewings take the experience up so many levels.

Haven't seen anything on their site, fb, etc. Anyone have any info on this? beerandnosh

Correct. Batch 1 of the cans had a rapid oxidation issue - made much worse by warm storage - that delayed the release of IPA (none left the warehouse) and then was found to effect other cans. We were able to pull the beer back in before most of it was showing signs of problem, and replaced it with fresh, stable cans. Anything on the shelf now should be batch 2 deliciousness.

Anyone who thinks they drank a can suffering for massive oxidation and reading this feel free to DM me and let me know, always hate to hear about someone getting something other than intended, under any circumstances.

Thanks for following up, I'll down the last couple of cans of the Pils and Mandarina I have from the first batch - what I drank previously showed no signs of off flavours. But I will revisit a fresh batch of the Pils.

It's terrible in the most hilarious way possible. It sounded stupid on the surface but it's well worth watching, especially if you're not sober.
I would add that you have to watch it with people. Watching it alone, especially for the first time, would probably not be very fun.

Any thoughts on Black Hammer Brewing down in SoMa?

Must not be attention to a lot of this newer spots popping up. Just went to Black Sands weeks ago after leaving Toronado.

This email interview with him from the AVClub in 2009 is one hell of a read:

But the interview from last year is straight-up amazing:

Haven't gone to Black Hammer in over a year. But my impression was that it was like an intro class to beer. You got your brown ale, your scotch ale, your hef, your lager, your blah blah blaaa...kinda boring. A quick check of their website says they are now doing sours. Cool space though.

I thought it was really bad. They do a taster flight, it's 4, 8oz beers. Didn't finish one. Stick to Cellarmaker if you're in the area.

Went to anchor thing Tuesday. I am a hard core anchor fanboy but I sort of wish they would stick to their classics and not dabble with the meyer lemon mumbo jumbo or try to push their IPA, etc.... but the port barrel stout is nice. Its understated on the port barrel for sure but I realized it would be nice to actually drink a pint of it compared to the sugar mud BA stuff that wears out its welcome after 3-4 oz. Too bad ill probably never find it on draft.

Seems like most people were passing on bottles so I wouldnt be surprised if they are available in the gift shop for future tour groups.

The bottles were all hand painted by people on the bottling line... pretty nice touch!

Torpedo Room update: now open until 9 (instead of 8) Tue-Sat, they'll fill other growlers as long as they're the same shape (32 & 64oz fliptops), and they'll fill the 32oz growlers with their BA beers. Not bad!
I like the filling other Growlers option.
