Last year was the easiest year since 09. Best bet is to go to the pub on a weekday night if you can swing it. Very minimal wait times. The 3 pour limit and table limits definitely work.
It seems to me like it is a bit less hyped, but it might just be that it doesn't interest me as much.

Think I have mentioned them in the past, but anyone got WoodFour updates?

Always enjoyed there stuff, but this is The Bollocks.

Hmmm I have a bottle of that thanks to preacher perhaps it's time.

Any recommendations for Hotels near Cellermaker? Looks like I'll be in the San Jose area the 27th for the
Avery and SARA beer week events, SARA, Cellarmaker & Toronado the 28th, preacher's hood the 29th then Santa Rosa for RateBeerBest on the 30th and 31st. Any recommendations for stuff in those areas?

Airbnb it. Thankfully nothing is to far in sf. Otherwise Parc 55 is a nice hotel nearby ish. Just don't walk to cellarmaker via 6th street unless you feel comfortable doing that.

Do they regularly sell bottles to go?

Or more special release from past events?
In the past I have got bottles from place in Alameda. Stopped in El Cerrito tonight, this and Sticky Sour aplently. Hoping a sign of increased production?

Bottles in El Cerrito. I rarely stop there, but it is better for the new owners. So far only locale. Will update after weekend shopping, but Alameda Craft is one of few places I got bombers in the past. Last few were limited, non shelf stuff.

Forget all that noise.. lets just ride some swings together...by the bonfire.

Finally seeing some Rosetta around here! Been on the lookout ever since the (minor) hype in the DDTs a few months ago.

I was there yesterday. Although I didn't get a chance to talk to the owner, I did notice that the back room has even more barrels than my last visit. It's getting tight back there! I know they're expanding into the space next door, but I didn't notice any signs of that yet.

On another note, the Moonlight taproom is now open Friday and Saturday!

I stayed at the Carriage Inn for a couple nights in October and was happy with it. One of the cheaper options in the area - actually cheaper than most AirBnB options I could find around there - but it was clean, safe, and the staff was helpful. Not a ton of amenities but Cellarmaker, Sightglass Coffee, Deli Board, City Beer Store, and a BART stop are all within a few blocks.

I always rec The Metro Hotel for accommodations in SF. It is extremely old school/no frills but it is cheap/clean/safe and a less than 5 minute walk to Toronado.

I'd do an Airbnb in Duboce or Lower Haight. Tend to be cheap, and it's the only way to stay right by the stuff you're interested in.

Funny because I've never been. We usually do NOPA if we're going fancy because Moonlight and I like their food.

We're staying there in a few months though so we'll have to check it out.

Ragazza is a great spot. Owner has a place near us called, Gialina, only does their pizzas. Sofa king good. My favorite SF pizza spot and I eat way lots of pizza.

Yeah I just looked at the website and realized it's the woman from Gialina. I've always heard good things about that place.

NOPA's great, but in the six years I lived in that hood, I only went there...twice? It's super duper popular. With Ragazza, I could get pizzas to go, which was awesome. Man, I miss the Lower Haight.

I used to have a lighthearted factoid that NOPA was Bill Cosby's favorite SF restaurant. Now I can turn a lighthearted factoid into a tasteless joke about spiked drinks and rape.
