Entirely possible, I can't think of anything since then that's been actually bad. Fumare is divisive but I actually kinda like it.Embers, Brandy Tripod, and Professir Ron were released back-to-back-to-back in March of 2014. I'll go out on a limb and say there haven't been any clunkers since....
You must have been thinking of I See A Tartness, which was one of the vintage bottles available during the week for SF beer week
i still have a bottle of this, good to hearWe cracked one of these last week and I thought it was tasting great.
I still have a bottle of both Brandy Tripod and Embers shudders.Even the biggest Sante homer has to admit they've released some clunkers. Pretty much every bottled "Ron" has been mediocre at best, and the less said about Brandy Tripod the better.
I think half of those were on at Rare Barrel last time I went.Mikkeller Bar just posted on their FB: Tomorrow we have an impromptu mini-tap takeover from Societe Brewing. The Pupil, Apprentice, Harlot, Publican and Widow all on tap!
$12 for a 7 oz pour each?Mikkeller Bar just posted on their FB: Tomorrow we have an impromptu mini-tap takeover from Societe Brewing. The Pupil, Apprentice, Harlot, Publican and Widow all on tap!
Mikkeller puts a bunch of beers on tap that you can get at 20 others places for cheaper!Mikkeller Bar just posted on their FB: Tomorrow we have an impromptu mini-tap takeover from Societe Brewing. The Pupil, Apprentice, Harlot, Publican and Widow all on tap!

Really, if I'm going to haul my ass into the city I'd want to go to Cellarmaker. But of Mikkellerbar/CBS I'd rather go to Mikkeller. I still find it hard to support CBS after all the **** they've pulled. Also, City Beer Store had some on tap. Lesser of two evils?

I don't really have a beef with Trappist. Their pricing is kinda high but it's not that bad (hell, even Beer Rev is getting close to them) and they haven't done any other seedy ****, at least that I'm aware of. Plus Chuck has poured me beer on two continents, so that's pretty cool. Here you. Haven't been to CBS in a while and never go to Mikkeller or any Trappis spots.
But think of all the warm, lightstruck IPAs you're missing out on by avoiding CBS!Here you. Haven't been to CBS in a while and never go to Mikkeller or any Trappis spots.
I saw someone call them out on that on Instgram and they got super butthurt. CBS proceeded to call the guy a liar, and say they always have the shades down. Next time I was in CBS they had the shades up and out of date IPAs in full sunlight. Brought teh lulz and showed CBS DGAF. I'll still go there from time to time, but only if they have something on tap I really want. But think of all the warm, lightstruck IPAs you're missing out on by avoiding CBS!
That's my beef with Trappist/Perdition. Yeah they occasionally have beers on tap I wanna try/can't get elsewhere but **** $16 for a pour of BA Old Stock?! Looks like they looked into it, and decided they know better than Deschutes! Does deschutes still do that asinine best buy bottle dating system where a pale ale is good for 6+ months? Some guy called them out on expired Deschutes River Ale, they said theyd look in to it. I stopped in a week later during their anniversary party. Same date expired River Ale languishing on the shelf.

Can someone elaborate on this? I had some vague understanding that they did sort of partial distribution in the area of things like Midnight Sun, but I may be wrong. Is "some guy" aware that calling out CBS for their ******** doesn't end well?
**** Craig and Beth with a rusty poker. Those two absolutely suck, whether it's for marking up a charity beer, trying to sneak past the three-tier system with their wink-wink nudge-nudge ownership of their own distribution company, short-shifting other stores on Eclipse variants back when Artisan carried 50/50, selling Alpine illegally out the back, or this stuff.

Mom and pop stores are the worst. I have yet to meet an exception.

Based on that link you appear to have a lot of enemies.
Arbitrator, Internet warrior! So brave and fierce on the forums!ZFG. The neckbeard is generally a docile creature, willing to put up with ******** that won't fly anywhere else (see Wakefield OG thread). I'm not going to be one of those.
Craig and Beth own Artisanal Distribution or whatever it's called. They say Craig's dad owns it, on paper.

THIS.Call me crazy (or docile?) but when I don't like the way a place does business, I simply stop giving them my money. Drinking beer is supposed to be fun right?

Simple. You vote with your dollar. Pretty much the loudest statement you can make.
