Wasn't on my radar. Are their releases pretty mellow or on the shitshow end of the scale? I might be able to swing it.
it will be busy i am sure but they handle it very well IMO. One of the better releases. i plan on getting there a little early as i have to get out rather quickly. Can take care of this for you if you can make it there by 3 at the latest?

I really appreciate the gesture but after some long, hard thought, driving to the east bay for a pale ale is a bit nutty.

LOL. I was going to pick up some row 2 for him and meet him at the ensorcceled release.
At least we will all see eachother at Ryan's bottleshare. Hopefully Row 2 bottles are becoming a thing. Can't really be arsed with pliny these days.

yeah I def wouldnt mind the Row 2 being a normal thing. Don;t forget i can get BP as well if youd like. Be more than happy to bring some to Ryan's for you or whoever.

Is it safe to say that they are making less Blind Pig and more Pliny? Hence the lack of distro.

I believe so. Not sure it will see distro again tbh. But then again, new equipment, that could easily change as I am sure demand is def high enough for it

New equipment, but Natalie had made a point of saying in one of her posts that the brewing capacity wouldn't be any larger as a result. They haven't bothered attempting to meet even local demand for PtE/BP up to now - doubt that'll change anytime soon.

I got bottles at a local store first week of March (bottled late Feb). It still gets out into the wild once in a while.

Just stopped by Fieldwork for the first time, it's a pretty nice space and their beer is quite good. There were a couple I didn't like as much (the session IPA and the Rye Pale), but the Chocolate Milk Brown was awesome and so was Canopy, a mosaic (IIRC) pale ale.

Definitely worth stopping by if you're in north Berkeley.

You guys may already know about them, but I'm compelled to post anyhow. Shady Oak Barrelhouse is one to watch. Their Brett IPA was really outstanding. It held up to some heavy hitters Friday night and damn near stole the show. If it wasn't better than HF Sue head to head then it was on a level footing. Really impressive. If you guys don't like it, just send it to me.

Do they do Funkatronic? (Or something similar.) Had that the other day and it was solid.

Funkatronic kinda reminded me of 'Merica by Praire. Nelson dank and brett funk. Pretty good
