If anyone's interested in 100% legitimately distributed Hill Farmstead Perry's has a few (Edith, Norma) at the bargain price of $35 a pop. Discounted from $40, so it's really a steal.

Edit: Norma was probably not what I saw at Perry's. It was probably one of her less attractive sisters- the one everyone says is so nice but never gets a date.

They're selling Norma for $35? Thats really not a bad price since its at the brewery for $30

I have my HF names confused. I took a look at Norma online and I don't remember the one at Perry's being waxed. I should have taken a picture. Florence maybe? Is that a plebeian-level HF offering? I asked the guy how they got them and his response was, "Yes, very rare."

My brother is in Oakland tonight waiting for a flight tomorrow. Any breweries he should check out? Let me know if he needs to be more specific with location.

Take BART into the city to go to Cellarmaker. Or I guess up to Berkeley for Rare Barrel, but you need to get a cab from the station unless you want to walk for a while.

My brother just said he's in oakdale? Is that close? Any recommendations for that? Sorry for his terribleness.
