Went to Monk's once, and never went back there or Abbot's cellar. Lots of > restaurants in the City to choose from.

If you are looking for a spot with great food and a killer tap/bottle list that isn't going to rape your wallet like that, try Bar Crudo on Divisadero and grab a Pliny or RR at Mini Bar before or after.

Abbott's does have a cool bottle share on Wednesday nights after they close.
Yeah, I used to live about halfway between Toronado and Bar Crudo. Hence me only going to Abbott's once. Bar Crudo was one of my go tos for friends/family visiting. I can't say enough good things about it. Non-happy hour, the bill can get a bit substantial though.

Trappist Provisions actually has good prices on some things. I think the last LPG I got there was like $34. More expensive than the lowest price you'll see in America? Yeah, but not by a lot, and probably comparable to shipping it from Europe.
$36 for BA IBB. I lol'd and left. $10 more than CBS or Berk Bowl. Havent been back since.

Believe that's their on-site consumption price - for most of the bottles they sell, there'll be 2 different prices on the tags, and the cheaper one is the to-go price (which iirc, is more like $28 for BA IBB). Not saying Provisions is a stone-cold bargain by any means, but let's at least be accurate.

It says collection, not collaboration, right?

Oh damnit. Well, if they bring Dribble Belt, that's new, and ******* good. In any case, I'm not going. I did see on the page that Cellarmaker and Berryessa are releasing a collaborative session IPA... woo hoo!!! If you haven't had Berryessa yet, you're missing out. Their Trendy Triple IPA was 10/10 amazing.

I think that's an old listing -- Fruity Rebels from Cellermaker and Berryessa came out during SF Beer Week.

Ahh yeah, I'm really messing up today, they're reverse order. I had a Duet for lunch, should've had two.

Ahh my rookie mistake. Just saw $36 lol'd, and put it back on the shelf.

Would you like to be paid hundreds of dollars to drink Mikkeller?

Try to start a conversation with the man himself?

Eat scallops or some ****?

Be one of 14 people to be honored with this event of a lifetime?

Then you are in luck!

Except that you pay and don't get paid.

Went to Rare Barrel last night for first time since the opening weekend. Way less crowded which made it a much better experience. Also had New Oak Sucre on tap which was awesome. Tasted like a Scotch Ale to me. Also saw a guy that looked exactly like Ryan Reschan. I eventually had to ask, and it wasn't. /Cool Story Bro

Were you there near closing with the tote bag full of bottles?
