Hitachino is a couple blocks from where we are staying.Get yerself to Ryoko's. Also worth checking out Hitachino if you're nearby (no sushi, but lots of wagyu).
Enjoying day 1 here. Pretty sure we ar on the fringe (Gerry) but we stumbled on to a great tiki bar.Ouch
Too much fun, I got far, far too drunk. How was Juicy Brews? I thought about going, but scrolled when I saw the $60 price tag.
If anyone may be interested in a mini fridge, my friend may be moving away from his place near Monks Kettle and getting rid of one. I'll put you in contact if you're ISO
In one of the new developments nearish to the Whole Foods. Should be BART accessible too.
Yeah if they don't go bankrupt first.

They raised cash through fan "investment" a month ago. And the books liiked pretty bad. They are really in debt. Like they needed "investment" just to cover payroll.
The best way to avoid bankruptcy is to just keep opening new locations.Yeah if they don't go bankrupt first.

Sounds like you’re not far from Taqueria Cancun, where you really can’t go wrong. For dinner needing reservations, going to need more details (budget, cuisine type, etc)I posted a while back about coming down over Father's Day weekend, we'll be staying at the Emblem, looks like a 25 minute walk to Cellarmaker which is great. Definitely hitting that, City Beer and Toronado along with the farmer's market/Alameda ferry recommendation. I got some food recommendations, but anything else, particularly burritos and dinner places we'd need to make reservations?

Got it. For ramen (and other things) Izakaya Sozai is can’t miss and might require a reservation (or showing up at open). We're up for good solid food, don't really care about Instagram-worthy/scenester ****, but also ok dropping $150-$200 on a great experience. Also if there is can't miss ramen that would be cool.
I'm starting to see Roses' in cans around town. Have they gotten any better? I visited the taproom once and the beer was straight up not good. I'm hoping have risen to the level of "alright," especially now that they are taking up shelf space.
I had mentioned swinging by the market on Saturday and getting some blueberries, but unfortunately we have a family friend's wedding in Chico that weekend - so not sure who will be running that market for us and I won't be able to give you basket on the house. Still think that's a great morning/afternoon though, so hopefully the weather is nice and you have a great day of it.I posted a while back about coming down over Father's Day weekend, we'll be staying at the Emblem, looks like a 25 minute walk to Cellarmaker which is great.
