Need some good coffee recommendations for the city. And more local vibe neighborhoods to walk around. Tourists annoy me even when I am one.

Nah, get further out. Hit Ritchfield in the Richmond or Hollow or Snowbird in the Sunset.

i dunno about coffee, but bernal heights is pretty cool. feels like a downtown to a village up there. holy water is there and across the street is arguably the best healthy spirits for beer too.

there’s an cool park up their with old school park stuff that’s now considered “dangerous” for kids. my boys love that place

Andytown & Trouble Coffee out at Ocean Beach, or head down to Taraval and hit the Andytown location there, then grab a drink at Riptide or White Cap.

If you hit Bernal, you gotta hit Old Devil Moon. Great spot, and one of the few Beer games in town that does half pours of the entire menu.

Those were mostly based on him staying in the TL. I wouldn't go across town just for coffee but that's just me. Of course, if you go to west side, you can hit the park and/or beach.

My in-laws have a studio about 30 feet away from there. Try to hit it up whenever we stay there.

Hey, I did a solid 7 years in SF. I am qualified to judge the fog entrenched suburban wasteland that is outer sunset/richmond.

Anyone got info on a price change for Sanctification bottles? It's been a couple years since I last purchased a bottle but I recall them being around $9 or $10 for the 375 ml bottles before. Stopped by City Beer yesterday and saw them on the shelf for $4.99. Picked up a couple bottles, but i haven't opened one yet.

They don’t see any barrels or anything so the price is like $5 at the brewery. A lot of stores selling them for $13 and **** tho thinking you won’t know that

Pretty sure bottles of previous batches of Sanctification have been $9 at the brewery, compared to $13 for the others.

I think I'm gonna hit Toronado on Friday while my wife takes a nap at the hotel. Their lack of wine and spirits is a turn off for her so I'll do that solo. Maybe I'll hit Mikkeller as well. We'll see.

Speaking of dope spots in the Richmond, I miss Bok Choy Garden so much. That place was peculiar, but the owners were awesome and served the best veggie Chinese food I've ever had.

It’s out of the way but Berkeley Bowl West does singles of everything. It’s the best grocery store in the Bay Area. KL wines in SOMA also does singles.
