Sightglass in SOMA, mint Blue Bottle, Four Barrel and The Mill.Need some good coffee recommendations for the city. And more local vibe neighborhoods to walk around. Tourists annoy me even when I am one.

pinhole! that’s the place up in bernal heights that has coffee, but it’s at the start of the main dragi dunno about coffee, but bernal heights is pretty cool. feels like a downtown to a village up there. holy water is there and across the street is arguably the best healthy spirits for beer too.
there’s an cool park up their with old school park stuff that’s now considered “dangerous” for kids. my boys love that place
If you hit Bernal, you gotta hit Old Devil Moon. Great spot, and one of the few Beer games in town that does half pours of the entire menu.pinhole! that’s the place up in bernal heights that has coffee, but it’s at the start of the main drag
Those were mostly based on him staying in the TL. I wouldn't go across town just for coffee but that's just me. Of course, if you go to west side, you can hit the park and/or beach.Nah, get further out. Hit Ritchfield in the Richmond or Hollow or Snowbird in the Sunset.
“Come see the REAL SF...Outer Richmond!”Just go to Linea Caffe in the Mission, don’t let these homers trick you into visiting their neighborhoods
No one has suggested the outer Richmond. Though it does have some gems.“Come see the REAL SF...Outer Richmond!”
Pizzetta 211 is the ****.No one has suggested the outer Richmond. Though it does have some gems.
Just the spot I was thinking of.Pizzetta 211 is the ****.
My in-laws have a studio about 30 feet away from there. Try to hit it up whenever we stay there.Just the spot I was thinking of.
Part of it is coming from east bay people, soWhy the hate for the west side? There's some real good Asian spots there. Also, there's Andytown!
Hey, I did a solid 7 years in SF. I am qualified to judge the fog entrenched suburban wasteland that is outer sunset/richmond.Part of it is coming from east bay people, so
Anyone got info on a price change for Sanctification bottles? It's been a couple years since I last purchased a bottle but I recall them being around $9 or $10 for the 375 ml bottles before. Stopped by City Beer yesterday and saw them on the shelf for $4.99. Picked up a couple bottles, but i haven't opened one yet.
Pretty sure bottles of previous batches of Sanctification have been $9 at the brewery, compared to $13 for the others. They don’t see any barrels or anything so the price is like $5 at the brewery. A lot of stores selling them for $13 and **** tho thinking you won’t know that
That’s my memory too. $5 is cheaper than I’ve ever seen it.Pretty sure bottles of previous batches of Sanctification have been $9 at the brewery, compared to $13 for the others.

Sanctification, our 100% brett beer, will be nicely priced – basically equivalent to a kettle sour price – and we’ll make it available year-round, draft and bottles. That will be easier to make because we’ll have a centrifuge to filter it out.
...a new incarnation of the Santa Rosa, Calif.-based brewery’s Sanctification will feature a much lower 4.75 percent ABV compared to 6.75 percent ABV in the most recent version.
$5 makes a lot more sense than $10 for a 375mL brett beer.I know it was cheaper at the brewery but I don't recall them ever being $5. I recall Redemption and Damnation being about $5 at retail while Sanctification was somewhere in between that and Consecration. Total Wine, which typically has decent pricing, currently lists Sanctification between $10-$12 depending upon location. Anyway, I'm just curious.

ODM list is looking good today. Dat Nonnas!!! Don't sleep on it!I think I'm gonna hit Toronado on Friday while my wife takes a nap at the hotel. Their lack of wine and spirits is a turn off for her so I'll do that solo. Maybe I'll hit Mikkeller as well. We'll see.
Oh, you're totally screwed then.Still two weeks away from our trip. :-(
It’s out of the way but Berkeley Bowl West does singles of everything. It’s the best grocery store in the Bay Area. KL wines in SOMA also does singles.Does City Beer sell singles? If not, anyone else? Going camping the weekend after we get home and would like to grab some stuff to share with friends.
