I personally love Lagunitas which is about 10 minutes from Russian River. They have some cool offerings that aren't bottled and fresh Lagunitas is pretty ******* hard to beat, and they have a great outdoor patio. I haven't gone on their tour in a couple years but even then it was cool seeing how big they are, and I know they've grown since.

ALSO, across the street from Russian River is Flavor Bistro, which features six taps from Moonlight Brewing. If you've never had Moonlight, prepare to have your mind blown by their amazing lagers and other beers. Especially Death and Taxes!!
They had the Moonlight IPA on at the hotel last night. ******* fantastic.

Sorry if this has already been talked about but has anyone heard anything about Cable Car being released this yr? Last yr it was mid-October right?

I'll be out there in October so just trying to see if I'll get lucky.

Cheers,
Evan

Nope. And if there's any combination of entities where past events aren't able to be extrapolated into the future, it's Lost Abbey, Toronado, and Cable Car.

Credit Card sales only out of the back room. Must have Rosamunde sausage in hand to purchase with special token.

But why wouldn't you be in the general vicinity of Rosamunde and not have Rosamunde sausage in hand? I must have eaten there once 3-4 times when I was out in SF for a few days back in February.

Got a mate in San Fran at the moment. Should I just send him to Cellarmaker? Any other good tips for the next couple of days?
With out a doubt he should head there. Youc an send him to Toronado as well as I am sure they have something good on. If he has time and wants to make the trip, go to Sante in Capitola. Also, Rare Barrel right across the Bay Bridge. They are actually doing a bottle release Saturday.

Yeah he's off to Toronado too.

Also he's drinking solo so if anyone comes across an Aussie dude called Simon in the next few days say hi.

Anybody going to pick up Headzo bottles this weekend at Drakes?

I have never had a Drake's beer worth $25, and I have been drinking it for almost 10 years.

I might stop by the brewery for a growler fill to send to an SD buddy, or I'll go to Altamont on Saturday. Let's make some plans via PM.

I'm going to be in Berkeley on Tuesday, 9/23. If anyone is available to meet up or had any recommendations on places to go, let me know. I can bring some east coast limited release stuff to share if folks are interested. Probably limited to public transport.

Most stuff is covered in this thread, but Jupiter, Triple Rock, Bobby G's are all within short walking distance of the downtown Berkeley BART. Search for Beer by BART for other options that you can travel to.

Ledgers Liquors used to be my go to bottle shop when I went to Berkeley a lot back in the day. May be able to find some nice bottles there.

Do yourself a favor and skip triple rock. Beer is god awful IMO. Only brewery I've ever been to that can't carb a beer on draft.
