Are these hitting the shelves? If so, where in the central bay area?

I'm leaving from Concord tomorrow morning to head to the Sequoias and would love to sang some on the way.

As far as I know it will only available at Track 7 and Final Gravity as part of a mixed 4-pack. Of course, Track 7 could send them anywhere they see fit.

I can save/send you a can or two if you'd like.

Fingers crossed that Beatification at least lasts on draft the next week and a half, I won't complain if it doesn't, but one can have hope...

I am pretty sure you will be okay. When I asked how bottle sales were going last Saturday, I was told they were not moving fast, and still had over 5 pallets of it left. I am not sure how much bottles in a pallet there are though.

A lot. Are people finally turned off by the $20 375? I know I personally bought 4 temps and one beat when I was there last time. Temp tasted better on tap to me TBH.

I went to Bartlett after the Cellarmaker release this week and the location is horrible just because it is near union square, p much two blocks away from Mikkeller. All of the beers and their happy hour was great $5 beers and random $5 appetizers. Location is just weird as hell for me though it is great for tourist. The only time I'm ever out in that area is whenever I have family visiting.

Checking their site they're owned/managed by one of those "concept" hotel/restaurant management companies.

So, that Altamont Maui Waui Triple IPA is pretty damn great. One of the best IIIPA out there. Excellent tropical hop flavor, and not sweet and oozy like a lot of other IIIPA that hit the scene.

is this different from Scarcity? Altamont has seemed to fall off in the past few months. I walked in a couple weeks ago and immediately walked right back out. the board seems to never change.

Might be worth it to turn it off and read. The article is hilarious. Here's a few juicy nuggets:

A mutual friend introduced Jacob to us, and when I walked into the bar to meet him I noticed we both wore Lucchese ostrich boots, and we became best buds ever since.

During one of our visits to St. Louis, we were drinking some Budweiser. It tastes so good there at the Busch family ranch and we asked Jacob if we could go visit the brewery.

Completely different. They follow a very similar hop bill to Maui. The beer is dangerously good, my favorite triple from them. Although the board usually stays relatively the same, I never have a problem settling for that Maui now that it's year round. Give the triple a shot, it's great.

God damn, those quotes
"we were out in St. Louis visiting the mother land of American beer"
“We started thinking that every American lager or pilsner beer brand is no longer owned by American's anymore"
"All three of us love the same classic style in beer and felt that everyone was focused on IPAs and overly hoppy sweet beers"

I had an IPA from Seismic last week, I thought it was really good. What's their story?

I don't know the whole story. Basically opening a brewery financed with KJ money. I've heard that they have high aspirations of selling a large amount of beer in Sonoma County. An amount probably not possible without being in every hotel, bar, and restaurant in the area.

They brought us some samples months ago and all were solid, yet not inspiring. Still, a good start for (at that time) a yet to be open brewery.

They seem like decent people, but are definitely playing off of the family name.

Ah, nice to know. I'll support them if they make great stuff. If they are getting that kind of funding, I would expect to be able to see them around my neck of the woods in the future.

Well good news, they're launching distro so you don't have to go there. Kickoff at Good Hop this evening.

"We realized there weren't enough beers being marketed with nip slips."
