I'll have a car. I'm staying in San Francisco in the Russian Hill part of town and just so happened the clippers vs. Warriors game synched up with our trip perfectly. Based on suggestions though sounds like I should just stay in San Francisco rather than venture out.
I'd leave the car at home, mosey on down to Mikkeller or City Beer/Cellarmaker and then just take BART to Coliseum.

So I've never lined up for RB releases. How bad do you folks suppose the line will be for Map of the Sun release this Saturday? 12 bottle limit per person.

I'll defer to others, but they made a **** ton of it and it should last awhile. I'd just go the day after. Last year they made a ton and it lasted weeks.

Ill be at that game tomorrow as well. I hoping to get me one of those fake rings!

I mean, I think the San Leandro Harry's is kinda near there, but that's not exactly a destination. Drake's is okay, so is Cleophus Quealy, but yeah, San Leandro is definitely not the best for beer.
As a resident of San Leandro I completely agree.

OK, which one of you jerks bought out the supply of 3F OG at The Wine Club? There were, like, 4 bottles standing around over there for the past month, but on the very day I finally decide to go and buy myself one, they're suddenly all sold out!

Glad I picked one up when they last came in...
That would be me. Bought all 4 of them. They weren't on the shelf though. Krissy grabbed em' out the back for me.

Anybody care to take a stab at this question? I'll be in the east bay this weekend and Saturday would be my only option, I'd love to pick up a couple bottles close to opening time...but I don't do lines and insane crowds. Any idea what the scene will be like close to the 2 pm opening?

Don't go at opening. Go later or the next day. Then it'll be fine.

Or just find someone on here who can buy you bottles in the pre-sale?

Can't go at 5 or 6, but thanks for the input. I'll most likely just skip it or try to hit it up Sunday close to opening.

If anyone's looking to store a cellar in the city, K&L Wines is apparently going to have "hundreds of temperature controlled storage lockers" for rent at their new store on Harrison. No timing/pricing details yet.

So 750 Growlers who fills them?

I have a shitload I would like to fill and get out of here. I don't do many Growler places, the ones I do are 32oz gaffs.

Alternatively, anyone want a bunch of 750 growlers?
