**** it, I'll say it. It isn't as good as last year's.

So I clickity-click and see that Born Yesterday is on at O'Malley's (Mountain View) of all places.

Mo' Equinox was the best of the bunch when I was in yesterday -- Afternoon Delight went on today, but it sounds great if you like Simcoe (and of course will be super fresh). I actually really enjoyed the Hop Of Out Mind but it's definitely a several-years-ago style West Coast IPA.

Question for you guys - a friend offered to grab a growler for me on his trip to SF tomorrow. What should I get? I'm leaning towards Afternoon Delight or Mo' Equinox based on the descriptions, but I'm up for any of the lighter/hoppier stuff.

Tell him to be a good friend and grab you three.

But srs I'd always opt for the Mo series.

Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations on a good place to grab food & beer before a Warriors game? Any and all help would be appreciated.

Are you taking BART? If so, go anywhere that's on the BART line, which is pretty much anything you'd want to do in Oakland, Berkeley, or SF.

I'm wondering if he means near the stadium in which case, take Stu's advice and stop off somewhere in Oak/SF/Berk on the way (assuming you are coming from that direction) because Oracle and the area around it is pretty much a wasteland.

I'll have a car. I'm staying in San Francisco in the Russian Hill part of town and just so happened the clippers vs. Warriors game synched up with our trip perfectly. Based on suggestions though sounds like I should just stay in San Francisco rather than venture out.

I mean, I think the San Leandro Harry's is kinda near there, but that's not exactly a destination. Drake's is okay, so is Cleophus Quealy, but yeah, San Leandro is definitely not the best for beer.
