Basement Bar and Kegerator - Follow Along and Comment

Hi All,

I am building a basement bar with a kegerator to eventually showcase my yet to be honed homebrewing skills.

Ultimate case of the cart before the horse? Right?

I used to brew quite a bit and bottle. And have always wanted to keg.

Anyway, I am starting with 1/6 craft brew kegs and will eventually homebrew and keg into Cornies.

I know this is a homebrewers forum, but I thought some of you might enjoy following along with the build and might have some good ideads, constructive criticism, and most importantly moral support.

I plan on posting tonight, a lengthy post about where I am to date, and lots of pics. Hope to get lots of comments and interest.

Hey all,

It was a busy weekend down in the bar. My wife's camera was acting up so it will be a day or so with the pictures.

Anyway, I built a laundry room in the basement years ago, never intending to add a bar down there. So of course that meant that I needed to redo all the plumbing for the laundry room to put in the sink for the bar. What a pain.

The bar layout is all framed up and I just about finished the plumbing. I hope to finish the sheetrock this week. I need to move the electrical panel to a utility closet I built that houses my boiler and hot water heater. I plan on doing that this weekend. (It will be a long and nasty project).

I hope to have pics up tonight.
