Band Aid song - Do They Know It's Christmas

Okay, aside from the total lameness of this song, I get that they were trying to raise money/awareness/whatever for Africans.

But srsly, I HATE that title and line: Do they know it's Christmas time at all?

No, half-wits, they aren't Christian. Congratulations, you are officially stupid.

Srsly. That is all.

* Yes, I know that missionaries have turned lots of Africans into Christians.

Yup and 25 years later, look at all the progress in Africa because of that (and a zillion other) effort!

It's hip to want to fight AIDS in Africa. Feed the starving children of Africa. Stop Malaria, rickets and scurvy. It's hip to wear an "inspi(red)" t-shirt. F Africa. What about NYC, Newark, Philadelphia, and wherever else in the United States there are homeless, starving, sick people?
