Hey guys, so I've been brewing now for a few months and have done 3 extract batches by the book now and I am wanting to start experimenting with adjusting the recipes. I have had some banana bread beer locally but don't see much info on brewing your own.
As Im still a relative noobie I wanted to see if any of you guys had experience with banana bread beer or had advice? I was thinking of doing an extract recipe with a wheat beer and possibly adding in mashed bananas to the boil or to the secondary???
I did a Belgian wit with dried orange peel in the boil but it didn't impart that much flavor so I was thinking in the secondary would be better, I just don't know if their would be any concerns with the banana going bad after a few days.
Thanks for the help.
