Dear Club Members, past and present,
Has it really been 20 years since BABBLE Homebrewers began brewing in Lake County? Well, it depends on who you ask. The origins of the club are shrouded in the depths of time and obscured by formal definitions of when the group of homebrewers who started it all officially became a club. The exact date of an anniversary has been debated over the years ever since. For the purposes of picking a date, the club decided to reference a vintage club t-shirt bearing the club's name and and the year of establishment as 1996. As you can probably guess, we weren't aiming for definitive scientific accuracy.
Really, the important thing here is to find and excuse to drink beer and catch up with old friends. A 20th(ish) anniversary is good enough for us!
