I found a busted avanti kegerator and was wondering if its worth stripping. The price is $100 and it would include the tower, faucet, shank, tank, and regulator. Everything seems to be in good shape. Is it worth it for building a Sanyo kegerator?
The tank may need testing/certification if the last date stamp is more than 5 years ago. Not that big a deal as it will cost you about $15.
So, if it's current it's worth about $60, the reg is about $40. Figure the tower and faucet are generally worthless because you really want Perlick faucets and you'll need two of them. You may be able to drill an extra hole in the tower for that.
