All right. I brewed this last night, so this is more for archival purposes. I wanted to play with some of the Aussie hops that the LHBS had, so I bought some Pride of Ringwood and Galaxy, and went to town on a gallon batch.
Bonus: After doing some research on St. Lupulin, I may be close to the grist here.
Grist:
2-row - 40%
Maris Otter - 30%
Vienna - 20%
C-40 - 10% (C-20 might have worked, too)
CaraPils - 5%
(Yes, that adds up to 105%. Round down as you see fit to make it work. It's just easier to remember that way.)
Hops:
60m - PoR - 10.6 IBUs
15m - Galaxy - 9 IBUs
10m - PoR + G - 10.6 IBUs
5m - G - 3.6 IBUs
Steep - PoR + G - 7.2 IBUs
Dry Hop - PoR + G - 4 days
Yeast: WLP008 (It was in stock, and seemed like it would work.)
We'll see how it turns out.
I'll probably do something similar in a month or two with NZ hops. Then build an IIPA or Red with both sets of hops.
