Hi all
I am brewing in my 30liter electric pot controlled by my SYL-2352 PID and an SSR. My problem is that the PID overshoots by 2 to 3 degrees from SV to PV.
It is not a big problem when brewing but as I also use it for Sous Vide cooking the extra degrees make a big difference in the long run.
The sensor is RTD so i should be fairly precise. I have calibrated with ice water and compared with a digital thermometer and both show the same. When setting to 56 degs celcius, the PV often hits 59-60 degs.
I have also run the autotune but not changed any other parameters in the settings.
Any suggestions?
