My little brother is moving out of a condo my mom owns this weekend and my daughter is moving in. While surveying the unit, small one bedroom unit, my daughter mentioned getting all new appliances. Well heck, there is a perfectly good fridge freezer combo there with the freezer on the top and plenty of room for what I would need it for. So, with that said, I am going to grab it and bring it home. Now, I have a Komos Kegerator for fermenting and a fridge for serving. LOL. Had I knows this was going to work this way I might have passed on the Komos but for 100 bucks I don't think I would have being cheap as I am. Having checked the 4 taps I have, old TapRite units, and they seem to work pretty well just need a disassembly, cleaning and new washers and Orings. I am ready to start rebuilding some of the kegs I have and will have a 4 tap setup if it all goes well. Also, with my daughter moving out, my wife can now bring her scrapbook stuff in one of the rooms and set up shop there which means the makeshift room I made in the garage might become my new brew room. Now, let the games begin. LOL

Are you sure you don't wanna swap those roles? I know there's not much overhead space in the KOMOS for anything like a dry hopper or whatnot....plus; appropriate shanks for a fridge door (https://www.brewhardware.com/product_p/shank5ss.htm https://www.brewhardware.com/product_p/shank4ss.htm) cost a couple bucks a piece more than tower shanks (https://www.brewhardware.com/product_p/shanksstowerpush.htm)

Sounds like your brewing just got a boost. Got a good sink out there in the garage?
Why wouldn't you use the fridge for fermenting and the Komos, which is already set up to serve, for your kegs?
Really not sure how I am going to use either one. But, as of now, I have a kegerator and a fridge at my disposal. Not a bad problem to have I am guessing. LOL
