Centurion, also known as Century Club, Century Challenge, One-Hunzy-Hunzy, Chicken of the North, Hundred's Club, Power Hour and Century Clock in North America, is a drinking game. Although there are variations in the rules, a basic premise remains; drink one hundred shots of beer or cider in as many minutes. Depending on the size of the shot glass used, either 2.5 or 3 litres of low volume drink such as cider or beer is required.

I did this about a year ago with Cider. After pre-drinking too. For some reason it really affects you - after that I spent the evening stumbling around the pub with a tiara on (it's better to wear a crown after.)

Anyone tried it?

We used to pre-game with power every night when I was in college. A shot of beer every minute for an hour. We had CD's we made with minute long song clips so at the change of a song you knew to drink. Sure beat watching a clock. The 30 minute mark was always Bon Jovi's "Oooh, we're half way there, Whooaaaa, livin' on a prayer" :D

Yup! We did the same thing, albeit not every night. I was actually looking through my itunes recently and found the old power hour mix from college. Didn't know I still had it!! Never did 100 minutes though, always 60.

I have tried to do a power hour before but we never finished. We always got sidetracked.

The question is not are you a member of the Century Club. I am a member of a much more prestigious club, The double century club. An afternoon, a couple friends, way too much beer. I don't remember the end, but there exists video proof that the end was accomplished. I would never do it again, but I am proud of the fact that i did it once.

I wish i could say that was the quickest i've had that much beer. 15 of us once killed an entire keg of genny cream ale in 1 hour. We had to half empty the keg before the hour started to finish the whole volume of beer in the amount of time we allotted. we finished it in 59:56

my friends and I do this everytime one of us gets married... its a messy way to live but someones gotta do it

the thought of doubling it is disturbing though
