Hello,

Are the gas ball valve suppose to be leak proof ? I unplugged them from the corny kegs last night when I cleaned the kegs and when I checked today the main regulator that previously was showing me 500psi was showing me ZERO psi. I should have shot down that manifold I had :(

I will refill it tomorrow...

Thanks!

It is always a good idea to check, using a soap solution or a comparable commercial, every fitting from the tank into the corny.

I also have drained a 5lb tank in no time.

I also now always lube all of the, "O" rings witha food grade petro gel. Then, after filling the corny I place the keg under at lest 25lb's of pressure to pop the seal. After that I lower the CO2 pressure to what I want to carb at.

this happened while I the gas connector was disconnected from the keg.
I have 2 lines split with a Y splitter, one was shot off from the valve the other one was not. It seems that it liked from the grey ball connector I can't explain how.

I assumed has a perfect seal if but I guess I was wrong.
