Are Samual Smith Bottles ok?

I bought a 4 pack of the Oatmeal Stout the other night and ready somewhere that bottles made in england wernt the same size as the ones over here. Physically, they look different when compared to a Sam Adams bottle, but that might be the inside circumference and no the outside. Has anyone used these bottles?

you can buy crowns for either size, but I can't comment on the size of those. a ruler will probably answer your question - I believe the size difference is large enough to be easily measurable.

+1. The bottles vary in size, but they all take the same sized crown caps.

ha! true but i didnt know if maybe they used a slightly smaller cap as well. Thanks for the replies though, its good to know i dont have to pitch them.
