Apartment Balcony

I really want to attempt growing hops next year but unfortunately I am stuck in an apartment until I buy a house. Is there any hope/possibility of growing on my balcony? Obviously I haven't done any research yet, but figured you guys would be the most help.

Hey there, I made sub-irrigated planters from 75L Brute Buckets that grew well beyond my expectations. These are first year rhizomes planted in Mid-March,

That's wild! Prettt much sums up what I wanted to hear. Any tips for a similar setup?

Sure. I had to consider a bunch of factors a) having to move b) easy to work with c) food grade d) UV resistant e) affordable f) could I find it in Korea. The Brute bucket satisfied all of these.

75L seems to be a perfect size. Go with perlite in the bottom of the water reservoir for weight issues. Other than that, I think pictures will do the build more justice. I'll post back when I put together a screencast or PDF about the build for my next Udemy course. In the meantime, you can't go wrong making a small SIP (sub irrigated planter) to grow some small herbs like basil or something.
