Hi, new to the forum and Home Brew world. Have done 3 LME batches now and will be moving to All grain soon.
A friend gave me some ingredients for an American Pale Ale but could not give me anymore details on times or amounts to brew from one of his local breweries. If someone knows how to take these ingredients and formulate a recipe in Beer Smith or some other program please let me know if you can help.
According to info I was provided the recipe calls for American Pale Ale Malt, Crystal 40L and Munich malts. Hops are Columbus, Centiennel and Amarillo.
IBUS is around 4.2 and AVB is around 5.6%. Could someone please let me know amounts and times of each ingredient to achieve this if they have time. This is a good APA from what I was told and I would like to try it but too far to drive just to get a pint.
Thanks
