Found this pipe in a box of brew gear that I bought used. It is about 8 inches long and one end is cut in a hexagon shape. Any one know what this would be used for?

Or maybe for removing keg posts. I have a similar wrench that I slotted on the corners to get out pinlock posts.

World's biggest one-hitter

This sounds like the voice of experience!

It's a wrench. I've seen similar for spark plugs. The faucet wrench I own is nothing like it. The size is too small for most faucet fittings I think.

Perhaps the original owner used it for posts? It could be a handy item to have.

Honestly, it looks like it is for unscrewing the breach plug from a muzzleloader. Mine looks identical.

It's a "stem wrench", for removing stem from a faucet, for re-packing, or "cone washer" replacement.

Before the days of cartridge type faucets, and non- replaceable faucet innards.
