When someone mentions real working mans beer, I always think of Yuengling or Narragansett.

Make an English Porter. Here's one straight from Ron Pattinson's blog...
Historically, the original real working mans beer. If you wanna brew...this is it. Or, just buy a six pack of Bud for the USA equivalent. [emoji6]

Wow, will try this someday. Thanks!

I sometimes substitute part of the rye for chocolate rye for a more robust beverage. Love this stuff, either light or dark.

EDIT: Oh shoot, I see now this is still the recipe where I screwed up my efficiency and had to add extract. You can of course use a little extra pale 2-row instead of the 10 oz extract. Or whatever. It's all good.

For some reason, a bunch of my iron worker buddies drink Zima and Tequiza whilst standing around in hard hats. Myself, I like a nice refreshing, crisp Bohemia pilsner after a long day at the orifice.

Or an ice-cold shandy, after doing the yard work. In a tall glass, with a little lemon twist. There's a workin' man's beer.

..Or a radler, a real one, freshly poured half lemonade/half beer. It's like an Arnold Palmer for men. Intended to refresh bicyclists (rädler) without dulling their senses, IMO radler is a legit sports drink.

OR... "kalt muschi"; half beer, half red wine. Translates as "cold p___y" (name for a cat)
