Any suggestions on how to add white chocolate

Planing on making a winter ale and the recipe ask for white chocolate, everything I read on the net is very vague. I understand due to the oil and other flavors in the chocolate can cause problems. I wonder if extract is a better route.
 
Best suggestion I found is to roast some cocoa beans for the mash and add vanilla extract or beans in the secondary. Which gives it something close to white chocolate
 
You can add chocolate directly, in small amounts, usually you would soak the chocolate in vodka first.

Chocolate is fairly common in beer, and most brewers use cocoa nibs. White chocolate isn't chocolate at all, so I don't think adding chocolate would the same flavor as the candy that is commonly called white chocolate. It's got cocoa butter in it, and sugar, but that's about the only similiarity. I would be worried about the oils in the candy causing problems, but I haven't heard of anybody doing it so I really don't know.

Sorry I'm just not a white chocolate fan. Like Yooper said, white "chocolate" is basically fat (cocoa butter) and sugar. Perhaps there is the slightest of chocolate flavor remaining in the cocoa butter. I'd say to add a very small amount of chocolate extract and some vanilla and see how that works.
