Anybody know of a home brew competition that accepts ciders coming up in the near future? The local comps around here are done for the year.

Is that you with a silver medal for a cyser? If so, congrats.
Indeed. Thank you. Heat pasteurized. No sulfites. No sorbate. Tasted smooth like a wine cooler, but 9% ABV after all was said & done. None left. Goodbye, Morat Cyser. Recipe:

Yes, bottles required. I gave them two 12-oz beer bottles worth. Most comps will take those, and some will take bombers or wine bottles too, but others frown on that.

I entered a spiced cyser and a new world cider. Both were very well received at my table at Thanksgiving by family and friends, but apparently not by the judges

We can't all win. I entered 5 things and 3 didn't place. It was a pretty large comp.
