I have to say I just discovered this guy today and I really like how he plays... so much so that I just purchased his latest CD.

http://www.candyrat.com/ is where I downloaded it... easy process and only $10 US.

I'd suggest you check him out...

This guy reminds me a lot of the late Eric Roche (who pioneered this style of playing, I think). Someone posted a similar link a while back. I tried searching for it, but came up empty. Anyway, great stuff! I really enjoy this unique style of guitar.

EDIT:
Found the [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_MrxgLz-v0]video that was posted[/ame] in the thread I can't find - it's an OK cover by a Korean kid of Roche's fairly creative Nirvana arrangement.

Stanley Jordan is another guy with a very unique style. Different; working from a jazz context, and much less percussive. Still, though, a completely different way to approach the guitar as an instrument, essentially 100%-tapping, and with the technique ultimately remaining secondary to the music (not playing as a purely masturbatory exercise).
