american pale ale hop schedule, noob questions

Hi all, I just got into kegging and I'd like my first kegged beer to be a drinkable pale ale bursting with hop flavor and aroma. I was thinking about making it 5.5-6% abv using pale malt, some type of Crystal malt, honey malt and maybe some carapils. The hops im thinking of ordering are 2 oz of each. Warrior for bittering, then citra, galaxy and maybe some cascade. what do you guys think? The only hops I've brewed with out of those is cascade. I am unsure of how to go about figuring out the amounts and times to get the most flavor out of them. I've read a few guides but the info was vague. Thanks.

That sounds really good!

I'd go with:

10 pounds two-row
.5 pound of crystal 40L
.25 pound honey malt

.75 ounce warrior 60 minutes
1 oz galaxy 15 minutes
1 oz citra 5 minutes

That would be for an APA.
 
Those hop combos sound nice, I like the citra cascade combo especially. I have brewed with galaxy and like its tropical notes as well. For bittering, warrr, magnum, doesn't matter, but 2 ounces of bittering hops for a 5 gallon batch seems like an awful lot. I would run the numbers on beersmith or hopville and check for yourself, but you are probably good with 0.5 to 1 ounce of bittering hops, depending on what you are going for, to stay in style for the pale category. The explosion of hop goodness, as you described, is going to come from the late boil additions, from 15 minutes to flameout, and then dry hopping!
