Hi to everyone, it's my first post in this amazing forum and i'm writing from Italy, so...first of all, i'm sorry for my poor english!
I came up with this recipe for an Amber Ale and i'd like to have your thoughts and suggestion about it.
RECIPE FOR 23 LITERS/6 GALLONS
Ibu: 36.7
Abv: 6.2%
ebc: 32
GRIST:
Maris Otter 85%
Carared 10.3% ( i have some doubt about this C-20, possible substitute: Caramunich II)
Caraaroma 3.4%
Carafa Special III 0.9% (just for the color and a little bit of roasty flavor)
HOP SCHEDULE:
Centennial 25 gr ( 60 min )
Centennial 20 gr ( 20 min )
Cascade 15 gr ( 0 min )
Centennial 15 gr ( 0 min )
YEAST:
2 pkg of US-05
Here you go. Any advice is more than welcome. Cheers.
